  • yes, you get to take a ferry boat! the washington island ferry runs from Ellison Bay to the island every 30 minutes during the summer. the ride itself is about 30 minutes long.

    Tips:

    during the summer months the lines for the ferry can be very long, especially if you are driving your car on. please plan accordingly!

    You will need to drive your car on the island, unless you are carpooling. for those of you that have made other arrangements, there is a free parking lot right next to the mainland ferry dock.
