what am i supposed to wear?
for the ceremony & reception —>
women should wear formal mid-length to long dresses. everything will be outdoors! wear appropriate fabric and shoes (wear stilettos and you’ll regret it). think: fancy garden party. men should be wearing jackets please! no tie required.
FOR THE WELCOME PARTY —>
all we ask is that our guests look NICE. NO JEANS, SHORTS, or sporty sandals.

will my cellphone work?
service is spotty on the island, but you will be able to find service most places. please consider that while most rentals have wifi, it is not universal. if you are desperate for working internet the library has free wifi available.
can i bring someone that the invite was not addressed to?
no.
did youR WEDDING VENUE CHANGE?
yes, IT did. tHE WEDDING IS NOW AT THE OLD POTATO FARM. we’re not by the water anymore, but WE’RE Still on the island
can i walk across the island?
no! plan on bringing your car to the island unless you’ve made other arrangements. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BRING YOUR BIKE, IT wOULD BE FUN. BUT IT WOULDN’T BE FUN TO RELY ON IT as your only MODE OF TRANSPORTATION.
does the island have taxis?
unfortunately the only taxi driver passed away in 2000 (R.I.P. VI). there are no ubers, lyfts, etc. we will have partial transportation for Saturday’s events. CHECK THE TRAVEL & STAY or Events PAGE FOR UPDATES on event transportation.
can i bring my kids?
we love kids! WE ESPECIALLY LOVE YOUR KIDS!! but our wedding will be like us: childless.
